Though at the end they finally see that Yong-Gu was indeed an innocent man. But damn, that was a huge calculated load of rubbish. The antidote to corruption is exposition. Jung Jin Young as Jang Min Hwan is the chief guard that hates Lee Yong Gu. Criminals should expect to be killed if they killed someone else. I had tears watching father and daughter's relationship I saw this movie and I cried buckets. I watched it last year on a flight from Korea. Comic and enjoyable moments take place within the prison walls. I thought we are about to laugh all night and to burst some air, little did we know that this night will be one of the nights we are really going to shed our bucket of tears. Particularly I don't think its a good idea to mix up something very depressing and dark with comedy. It is so much better than The Thieves! The film exceeded 12 million viewers 46 days after its release. This movie is in many ways good but i personally don't think it was great yeah sure the strong familial bond is deeply touching but in many ways i thought the movie is absurd of-course i have no idea about prisons in Korea it made my cry, it made my laugh, it made me feel but not in a way deep enough This movie was corny, with a few pieces of fairly unbelievable plot etc etc. Warden catches daughter in prison.
This is definitely one of the best Korean movies. It certainly helped that the acting was wonderful from everyone in the cast, but the real highlight of the film came from the story itself. It's entitled as Miracle in cell No. But one day, as Yong-gu counts his salary, the girl who bought the bag approached and tell him that she knows where Yong-gu can buy the bag. Seriously, what happened to the Korean Cinema? This lead him to be falsely accused and sentenced to death for abduction, sexual assault and murder of a minor. Jd kdang sesekali manmpilkan masa lalu kadag menampilkan masa kini.
This is perfect for the upcoming Father's Day. Watched the film twice, cried the same way twice. Perhaps most striking about Yong-gu as a character was watching how hard he tried to understand and comprehend, since the moments which really stayed with me after the movie ended were his moments of clarity. But for whatever reason, we have to assume that the code of law was easy to manipulate before the year of our lord 2013, even if the injustice of it all is rage-inducing. There are enough reasons to bad-mouth the movie, but despite all that it works exceptionally well, not least thanks to the outstanding cast which succeeds in brushing the scrennplay's problems under the carpet.
Father pleads for help as guard and warden feel helpless. Brilliant acting from Ryu Seung-Ryong, great scenario, really heartwarming camaraderie among the inmates. The movie is very heartwarming and teaches us about family values, especially the relationship of a father and a daughter. Aside from the technically flawless execution including an unusually well composed soundtrack, the movie in fact succeeds in being a convincing affair despite a lot of manipulative tears. Lee Yong Gu is a mentally impaired father with the intellect of a six-year-old, who lives in a run-down house along with his daughter of the same age, Ye Seung.

Skipping on some parts, he is badly accused of committing a crime and he ends up behind bars. Miracle in Cell no 7 was a tiny bit better because there was more space for warm feelings and great humour. I have just one correction. Yang membuat film ini sangat menarik untuk diikuti adalah bagaimana Lee Hwan-Kyung, Kim Hwang-Sung, Kim Young-Suk yang beramai-ramai menulis screenplay film ini menuturkan kisah film ini. Comedy best works standalone or when mixed with Action or Romance. It's a good movie but nothing amazing to the point I am not shocked why it was such a big hit in Korea or anything like that. It's the remarkable love between a father and daughter that makes it so simple yet brilliant. Anna: I watched Miracle in Cell No. The last part of this movie did me in too, especially when that hot air balloon went over the prison walls! Filled with tears and laughters. She will always be Bo Song Fluffy to me. In this movie the guy was arrested just because of superficial evidence based on witness.
